The Big Retreat Festival – Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms & Conditions on your own behalf and for anyone you are buying tickets for.

1. Definitions

Event means the specific Big Retreat Festival you have purchased a ticket for.Promoter, we, us, our means The Big Retreat Festival and Lawrenny Park Retreats Ltd.You, your means any ticket holder or attendee.Ticket includes any valid ticket, email confirmation or wristband.

All tickets are sold subject to these Terms. Entry confirms acceptance.

2. Acceptance and Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be on our website.

Event signage, announcements and instructions also form part of these Terms.

If you breach these Terms, we may refuse entry or remove you without refund.

3. Tickets

Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

Tickets remain the property of the Promoter and must be shown on request.

Tickets will be invalid if they are bought from unauthorised sellers, resold for profit, altered or copied.

Official resale platform is Tixel only.

Lost or stolen tickets are not guaranteed to be replaced.

4. Ticket Transfers Between Events (Important)

Tickets cannot be transferred between events.

Pembrokeshire tickets are only valid for Pembrokeshire.Cambridgeshire tickets are only valid for Cambridgeshire.

Tickets cannot be moved, exchanged or credited between events.

Each festival is a separate event with its own capacity, licensing and costs.

If you can no longer attend, you may resell via Tixel only.

We are unable to make exceptions to this policy.

5. Entry and Security

Entry requires a valid ticket.

All attendees may be searched. Refusal may result in no entry or removal.

We may refuse entry or remove anyone for safety or licensing reasons, anti-social behaviour, being under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol, or breach of these Terms.

No refunds will be given.

6. Age Policy

Under 5s are free but still require a ticket.Ages 6 to 17 require a concession ticket.

Under 14s have limited access to some activities.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Challenge 25 applies and ID may be required.

Under 18s cannot consume alcohol.

Adults supplying alcohol to minors will be removed.

7. Programme Changes

The programme, timings, presenters and activities may change.

Tickets are for the overall Event, not specific acts or sessions.

No refunds will be given for line-up changes, timetable changes or missed sessions.

8. Workshops and Activities

Entry is subject to capacity and may require queuing.

Access is not guaranteed.

Participation is at your own risk.

9. Attendee Waiver and Release of Liability (Important)

By attending, you agree that the Event includes physical and outdoor activities such as yoga, fitness, workshops and water-based activities.

You understand that risks may include injury, illness, uneven terrain, weather conditions, equipment failure and interaction with other participants.

You voluntarily accept all risks.

You confirm that you are fit to participate and will stop if unwell.

You release The Big Retreat Festival, Lawrenny Park Retreats Ltd and all staff, instructors and partners from liability for injury, loss or damage, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

We are not responsible for the actions of instructors or other attendees.

This agreement applies to you and anyone included in your booking.

By attending, you consent to photography and filming for promotional use.

If you do not agree, you must not attend the Event.

10. Health and Safety

The Event takes place outdoors on natural terrain.

You are responsible for appropriate clothing, footwear and supervision of children.

Loud music may be present.

Carbon Monoxide Safety (Important)

Carbon monoxide is a colourless, odourless gas that can be fatal.

Fuel-burning equipment must never be used inside tents or enclosed spaces.

This includes tents, campervans and enclosed shelters.

If you feel dizzy, unwell or nauseous, seek medical help immediately.

Failure to comply may result in removal.

11. Prohibited Items

Prohibited items include drugs, psychoactive substances, weapons, fireworks, flares, drones and any item deemed unsafe.

Items may be confiscated and you may be removed.

12. Camping

Camping requires a valid weekend ticket.

You must camp in designated areas and follow steward instructions.

Fire Safety (Strictly Enforced)

BBQs, fire pits and open fires are not permitted anywhere on site.

This includes disposable BBQs, raised BBQs and fire pits.

Items may be confiscated and you may be removed.

13. Alcohol and Food

Food and drink are for personal consumption only.

Excess alcohol may be confiscated.

No resale is permitted.

14. Personal Property

We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings.

15. Waste and Environment

Please leave no trace and take all rubbish with you.

16. Accessibility

Some areas may be uneven or difficult to access.

Please contact us in advance if you require assistance.

17. Unauthorised Tickets

Tickets from unofficial sources are invalid.

We may cancel tickets suspected of resale or fraud.

18. Refunds

Refunds are only given if the Event is cancelled or materially altered.

No refunds will be given for weather, personal circumstances, travel or accommodation, or programme changes.

19. Force Majeure

We are not liable for events outside our control.

20. Attendance Restrictions

We may refuse entry to any individual, including those on the VISOR register.

21. Legal

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

22. Privacy

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Final Note

These Terms form a legally binding agreement.

If you do not agree, do not purchase a ticket or attend the Event.
